The College of Islamic Dawa was established in 1974 AD pursuant to Law No. 78 dated 02/11/1974 AD.

It is an Islamic institution affiliated with the International Islamic Daawa Association, based in Tripoli/Libya, and has five branches in countries in the continents of Asia, Africa, and Europe: (Lebanon, Benin, Senegal, Chad, Britain, Turkey, and Indonesia. It had an important branch in Syria that was closed after the Syrian revolution, A branch in Pakistan was closed late last century.

The Islamic College in London is one of the branches of the College of Islamic Da’wah. Its program is dedicated to postgraduate studies (Master’s - PhD), and the language of study is English, with interest in Arabic as an auxiliary research language.
