An Educational and Recreational Trip to Gharyan for Fourth-Year Students of the Islamic Da'wah College

As they welcomed a new day on Sunday, 24 May 2026, hearts were filled with anticipation for a journey to the city of Gharyan. This trip was graciously approved by Dr. Abu Bakr Mohammed Abu Suwair with the aim of renewing students’ energy and preparing them for their final examinations.

A distinguished group of faculty members and administrative staff was assigned to accompany the fourth-year male and female students of the College, along with several coordinators from the Student Union. The group set out for the historic city of Gharyan, renowned for its knowledge, beauty, and rich cultural heritage.

Upon their arrival, they were warmly welcomed by Dr. Abdul Basit Al-Hamrouni, Dean of the Faculty of Education in Gharyan, together with the heads of the academic departments. The visitors were then guided through a journey into the past, exploring the historic Housh Al-Kalbiyah, its ancient mosque, traditional olive press, and the homes of the ancestors who once inhabited and developed this land.

The visit was marked by a warm atmosphere of hospitality, generosity, and gracious reception. The guests enjoyed a traditional breakfast meal that was greatly appreciated by all. Afterwards, they explored a collection of remarkable historical artifacts that seemed almost beyond imagination in their beauty and significance.

The joy of the day continued with a visit to the wonderful Marmara Restaurant, where the participants enjoyed lunch after the efforts of the journey. The trip concluded with an excursion to Jabal Bou Ghaylan, where everyone climbed the mountain, walked through its scenic surroundings, and enjoyed its natural beauty until their spirits were refreshed and delighted by the experience.

The journey was a memorable blend of learning, heritage, recreation, and fellowship, leaving lasting impressions on all who participated.
